Project Racing trailer - part 1

We have had our racing trailer for 2 full seasons now and it has been very good to us, providing place to be, sleep and a workshop. But after basically using it as we bought it, we felt it was time for an overhaul of it also this winter so we started before christmas.

First we stripped out the whole front part of the trailer, and also removed the windows in the front. Karl-Martin and Kim is starting on the roof.

New roof is being put up by Karl-Martin, Kim and Dag.

We are also fitting new walls, and Kim is working on that.

We have also split the "main" part of the trailer in 2, with a living/lounge part and one workshop part where we will be fully equipped to handle pretty much anything that can happen on a race.

Kim and Karl-Martin is really happy with the bench and wall they have build.

So we need some paint in our lounge room and of course wee need some yellow there to. Raymond is really concentrating on pouring the paint.

Fredrik is really serious about his painting of the roof. Karl-Martin is supervising from the corner. In the back you see the door into the rear workshop room.

Finaly we got light again in the bed-room, with these great new LED spots lights that Anders installed for us. Karl-Martin and Kim is fitting our new windows.
Well this is pretty much how far we have come, but we will be back on the trailer next Tuesday, so I will keep you updated.

Well the last few weeks we have been working on the Race Trailer, making it more comfortable to live in, and better for us with installing the full workshop in the back as well as a living room for us. So there hasn't been time to work to much on our cars, but Karl-Martin came up to me a couple of days ago and he got started on the fenders.

Karl-Martin is consentrated when he is marking up where to cut in the fender to flush in the lights.

The result is getting pretty good. We need to do some adjustments, and tightening up the fenders a bit, as well as make some nice brackets on the rear.

But it sure is looking badass with the new facelift on. Cant wait until we finish this up.

Well a small update on Dag´s Chaser JZX81 build. The engine was in the bench last week to get tuned. At 1.9bar the turbo maxed out at 794hp, getting to much back pressure so it would drop straight down to about 1.4bar.
Dag was not happy with this, he is looking for a bit more hp, so we are looking at getting a new turbo that will not cause some much back pressure, and be able to deliver the hp he is looking for.
As allways, follow here or even better follow our Facebook page and we always post notices there when we update our web site with new and exiting news. Stay Tuned!!!

Check out the beautiful HyperTune Intake manifold, throttle body and fuel rail. This has to be the best intake manifolds I have seen for a 2JZ.
